Ngozi warmly invites you into the therapeutic space where you will be unconditionally supported to explore feelings, thoughts, and personal insights regarding your relationships and lived experiences. Safety, connection, gentle accountability, and active listening are priorities in her intention as your therapist. When things feel heavy and hopeless, Ngozi hopes you will trust her to bring her expertise to collaboratively find the relief and balance that you seek.
Ngozi works with adolescents, adults, and our elderly who experience anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, daily/transitional life stages and stressors, trauma/PTSD/C-PTSD, intergenerational trauma, migrant/immigrant transitions, and grief. She integrates methods from psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, trauma-focused modalities, systems-centered, strength-based therapies, mindfulness, as well as other modalities that are client-centered and research informed. She values trust-building, being open-minded, curiosity, practicing versatility, and deepening self-awareness.
Ngozi is a Licensed Professional Counselor, with a Masters level degree in Counseling & Development from George Mason University. She has been additionally trained in the subjects of chronic trauma and grief.
In addition to her skills as a clinician, Ngozi loves to travel, be immersed in different cultures and languages, has a great sense of humor, hikes, enjoys music and podcasts, dancing, and building community with others.
